What has and has not been checked

Ten routes were chosen by hand. The other 246 were worked out by computer: the route starts at a public car park (or, for a few remote hills, a railway station) near the usual start where Wikipedia names one, and follows mapped paths to the top. 68 of those have something odd about them, such as a scramble, a stretch along a main road or a drop on the way up, and say so on the page. None of the computer-made routes has been walked to check it. 26 Munros have no route yet, because the mapped paths near the summit do not join up.

The weather is raw computer output for a single point. Always read the Mountain Weather Information Service forecast before you go, and in winter the avalanche report.
